Survey

Interact members took a poll, voting for their top 3 service projects for the club in the spring semester. Mrs. Chavers will give the results of the survey at the next meeting, and the club will begin to form committees to accomplish these tasks.

By Laws - Memberships Changes

The requirements for club membership are now put in the bylaws of the club. There is no GPA requirement, but every member will need to have a recommendation letter listing their character traits on file with the club and be in good standing with school conduct to continue membership. Members also must have integrity at service events, following the School's Keys to Success (responsibility, integrity, etc.) and the Rotary's Mission in order to represent the club and the school appropriately.

By Laws - Officer Elections

The requirements for officers will be the same as for other members, but in order to run for an officer position, the candidate must have membership in the club for at least one year prior to running.

Point System

The club will be testing a new point system in order to keep track of attendance and participation in club meetings and service events. Two members who want to create and test this system, as well as give feedback at the end of the semester will need to run for office at the February 8 meeting. These officers will not be required to hold membership for at least one year, so anyone can potentially run for these positions.

Officer Elections

Officer elections will be held at the February 8th meeting. Anyone running for office should submit their application to Mrs. Chavers by February 8.

If you were not in attendance of the January 25 meeting, the link to the polls and powerpoint are here.

Next Meeting

The club's next meeting will be held on Thursday, February 8 at 2:45 in Mrs. Chavers's room.
