Toy Drive

For every toy a student brings, they can enter their name into a raffle for:

  • a pair of tickets for Star Wars on December 16th at 6:30pm at the opening of the Lenoir Theater

  • $20 gift card to Chick-fil-a

  • $15 gift card to Walmart

Each person can enter as many times as they bring a toy. Interact will draw and announce winners at the Carolina Movie Theater on December 15th. Members will be posted for each grade level in the mornings from 7:50 to 8:15am around the classrooms for collection and raffle tickets. 2 members for each grade level 9-11 were assigned this afternoon for room areas. Seniors and 5th years, will need to spread this and get raffle tickets to upperclassmen.

Toys and raffle submissions will be taken until December 11th.

Beta members can receive 1 hour of service credit for 5 toys. Be sure to show donations to a Beta sponsor so they can keep a record of service.

Military Care Package Drive

The Military Care Package Drive will be expanded to January 8th. Interact is partnering in the following locations: 7th Day Adventist in Morganton, South Caldwell, Granite Falls Elementary, Granite Falls Middle, Harper School, Buffalo Cove Baptist Church, Gamewell Middle, and Chavers' room.

If anyone knows of a school, church, or business that would like to partner, please let us know. Please help keep these two drives going. Our school focus are these toys!

Next Meeting

The club’s next meeting will be on Thursday, December 14. This will be a Christmas Party, so please join us and bring food! Rotary members will also be there to talk about the Rotary Organization.
